Directions
Directions to Kit Carson Park
Kit Carson Park is in Escondido. From interstate 15 take Via Rancho Parkway East. Via Rancho Parkway turns into Bear Valley Parkway about after about .5 miles. Kit Carson Park is on the left side at 3333 Bear Valley Parkway. Turn at the stop light into the park and go to the back near the big "snake" in the grass. Park anywhere close by. Runs start on the grass and go through the hills directly behind.
Directions to Orange Glen High School
From the South, Take I15 North to Via Rancho Parkway East.
It turns into Bear Valley Parkway. Orange Glen High School on the Right Side.
From the North-West, Take I15 South to East Valley Parkway. Turn Right on North Citrus.
Turn Right on Bear Valley Parkway. Orange Glen High School on the Left Side.
Directions to Madison Middle School
From Oceanside: take the 78 to the exit MELROSE DR.
Drive south on S. MELROSE DR - go 1.6 mi,Turn Right on CANNON RD - go 0.2 mi,
Turn Right on LAKE BLVD - go 0.3 mi, Arrive at 4930 LAKE BLVD, OCEANSIDE
From San Marcos: take the 78 west to the SYCAMORE AVE. exit,
Turn Left on SYCAMORE AVE - go 0.3 mi,Turn Right on SHADOWRIDGE DR - go 1.6 mi,
Turn Right on S MELROSE DR - go 0.9 mi, Turn Left on CANNON RD - go 0.2 mi,
Turn Right on LAKE BLVD - go 0.3 mi, Arrive at 4930 LAKE BLVD, OCEANSIDE, on the Right
Directions to Mar Vista High School

From I-5, take Palm Avenue/CA-75 exit and go west. Continue on Palm Ave. Turn left onto 5th St.
School is at 5th St. and Elm Ave.
Directions to the Softball Field
The "Softball Field" is actually located on the corner of Shadowridge/Melrose intersection in Vista.
Take Highway 78 west to Vista and take the Sycamore Exit Left onto Sycamore. Proceed south on Sycamore
(you will go under the freeway) until you get to Shadowridge. Make a right onto Shadowridge and follow Shadowridge for approximately 2 miles.
When you reach Melrose proceed through the intersection you will see a parking lot with softball fields on your right. Pull into the parking lot, practice is at held on the lower field behind the snack bar building
Directions to the Duck Pond
The "Duck Pond" is actually Buena Vista Park
located on Antigua Way in Vista (one block west of the Shadowridge/Melrose intersection).
Take Highway 78 west to Vista and take the Sycamore Exit .Left onto Sycamore.
Proceed south on Sycamore (you will go under the freeway) until you get to Shadowridge.
Make a right onto Shadowridge and follow Shadowridge for approximately 2 miles.
When you reach Melrose proceed through the intersection (you will see ball fields
on your right).
Go past the ball fields to the next street which is Antigua and make a left.
This will take you directly into the park.

Directions to Carlsbad State Beach
From interstate 5 (North or South) exit Tamarack and go West to PCH (Pacific Coast Highway). Turn South (left) on PCH until you reach the first lifeguard tower on the right (Tower 33). Look for parking along the PCH.
Directions to Canyonside Park in Rancho Penasquitos
From interstate 15 take state route 56 west to Black Mountain Rd. Turn left (going South) onto Black Mountain Rd. Approximately 1 mile down the hillon the right side turn right into Canyonside Park on Canyonside Park Dr. Drive to the back of the park near the last Softball/Baseball field. Park anywhere. We enter the PQ preserve from the end of Canyonside Park.

Directions to Black Mountain Ranch in Rancho Penasquitos
From I-5 take the 56 East to Camino Del Sur and turn left (north). Take Camino Del Sur to Carmel Valley Rd and go right (east). Park is about 1 1/2 miles down on left hand side.
From I-15 take the 56 West to Black Mountain Rd. Turn right on Black Mtn. Rd (North), take that until it dead ends at Carmel Valley Rd. and turn right, park is on the left.
